Air Traffic Control Training Programmes
Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) training is strictly regulated. Air traffic controllers (ATCOs) must acquire competences within a specific rating and endorsement. to obtain an ATCO license for independent provision of air traffic control service.
The current European regulation for ATCO licensing reinforces the procedures for ATCOs training & certification in three major fields: requirements for the licensing of air traffic controllers, requirements for competent authorities and requirements for air traffic controller training organisations & aero-medical centers. The European ATCO competency framework has been adopted by ICAO as the preferred training model for member states to follow.
The following suite of ICAO-compliant ATC training courses are available to meet the training needs of Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP).
